Katie & Frankie

Post production is almost complete on Katie & Frankie’s wedding day!  This was a rather challenging shoot as the wind coming off the ocean at Stradbroke Island that day was very strong.  So much so, that the ceremony had to be relocated at the last minute to a more suitable venue.

Katie and Frankie stayed cool however, and it was an absolute joy meeting them both as well as their families.

I started the day with a visit to the hairdressers to meet Katie and her girls.  After shooting some video with them, I moved on to the Groom’s place and filmed Frankie and his boys getting ready.

Then it was off to the ceremony which was relocated as I mentioned.  It ended up being quite an intimate affair with family and guests gathered around closely.  Some great moments captured on film and then it was time to celebrate at the reception.

The speeches, the Bridal Waltz and the cutting of the cake were all performed brilliantly.  Katie & Frankie also opted to have guest wedding messages recorded and after nominating a very competent ‘host’ named Wyn, a great final chapter for the DVD emerged!

I’d like to thank Frankie & Katie for letting me share their special day with them and I’m looking forward to completing their wedding DVD in the coming weeks.
