brisbane - Video My Wedding
Three words that I think best describe Ellen and Poli on their wedding day .. cool, calm and collected.
Despite a few challenges on the day (weather, traffic .. forgotten crowns!), this happy couple remained on top of their game.
The video shoot started at Ellen’s place and I’m really happy with the scenes, particularly the sequences with her ever loving father.
Their wedding ceremony was at the Greek Orthodox Parish at South Brisbane and afterwards the bridal party enjoyed a photo shoot under the Story Bridge at Kangaroo Point before settling in to celebrate their day at their reception.
Great food, great speeches and some great dancing that continued late into the night.
This week I finished editing Janette and Jason’s wedding video.
A beautiful outdoor ceremony at Dockside, Kangaroo Point was followed by some family photographs before a quick photo shoot along the boardwalk overlooking the Brisbane river.
The happy couple had a lavish reception with a live band, photo booth, games and some great speeches.
It was lovely meeting Janette and Jason’s friends and family and I had a great time both filming and editing this wedding DVD.
Being a wedding videographer in Brisbane definitely has it’s perks.
I recently had the privilege of filming Hayley & Brad’s wedding video and the ceremony was located at the beautiful Henzell’s Chapel at Mt Pleasant.
The countryside was simply breathtaking and the weather was perfect too.
It’s so nice to get out of the city and smell the fresh air and hear the sounds of nature (including a few moo’s from the cows during the ceremony!).
Father Ashley Warbrooke conducted Hayley & Brad’s wedding ceremony and this was my 2nd time meeting him as he also appears in Liz & Ugo’s wedding video. Father Ashley has a great sense of humour and is always a pleasure to work with.
One of the great things about having a wedding ceremony at a scenic spot such as Henzell’s Chapel is there is need to travel to other destinations for a photo shoot.
Everywhere you look there are photo opportunities and all you need do is take a short walk here and there … just watch out for those cow patties.
At sunset we arrived at Birches Restaurant for the reception. A super nice venue with a lovely warm fire and great food.
I really enjoyed filming Hayley and Brad’s wedding and equally enjoyed all the video editing.
Thanks for having me video your wedding guys!
For me, producing wedding videos brings not only a sense of satisfaction because I know my work will be watched and kept for many years to come, but they also bring me the opportunity to meet and experience different cultures and traditions.
Katy & Adrian booked me to film their wedding reception at The Bearded Dragon and I had a great time, not only because they were lovely people with beautiful families and children, but also because I finally got to film a Haka being performed at a wedding.
I’ve seen the Haka performed live about 4 times now, including a couple times when I was holidaying in New Zealand years ago. There’s nothing like it, it’s such a powerful performance.
My wedding reception package includes guests arrivals, speeches, cake cutting, bridal waltz (or Haka!) and of course any other events that you can fit into a 4 hour period.

Thanks to Katy and Adrian for choosing me to video their wedding!
